CEO Elon Musk on tweeted on June 4 that overall headcount at Tesla Inc. will increase over the next 12 months, but not in its salaried staff. The tweet came two days after Musk said in a memo to staff that he a “super bad feeling” about the direction of the economy and Austin-based Tesla needed to cut 10% of its jobs.
